Dystonia is More than a Movement Disorder: Depression & Anxiety
Thursday, January 21 – 6PM Central Time
Join us for an informative conversation about dystonia and mental health. Depression and anxiety are common in individuals with dystonia, and frequently go unrecognized and/or untreated. Acknowledging and addressing these non-motor symptoms can have a profound, positive impact on quality of life.
Brian Berman, MD, Professor of Neurology and Director of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center, will present on the relationship between dystonia, depression, and anxiety: what the research is showing and implications for dystonia treatment. There will be time for Q&A.
The webinar will be recorded and made available online after the live broadcast.
