Heartfelt gratitude goes out to all participants, volunteers, and generous sponsors of 2023 Boston Dystonia Zoo Day held on September 30, the final day of Dystonia Awareness Month.
This year’s event, hosted by Paula Schneider, Vice President of Support for the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation and members of the Greater Boston Dystonia Support Group, including co-leaders Linda Cline and Mary Letson, individuals who have personally experienced the impact of dystonia, was a tremendous success. “We are thrilled to come together once again for the 2nd annual Boston Dystonia Zoo Day,” expressed Paula Schneider, Vice President of Support for the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. “Our objective extends beyond raising awareness about this debilitating disorder; we are also dedicated to providing crucial support for the significant research efforts carried out by the DMRF.”
We thank our special guest speaker Todd Herrington, MD, PhD (Mass General Brigham) and also Jennifer Cooper, E-RYT-200 (Laughing Dog Yoga) for a fun warm-up. She has shared an additional video for those who missed out on the in-person event (below).
If you have photos or videos from the event, please post them with #DystoniaZooDay and #LetsZooThis! Team donations can still be matched!
