Registration Open for NINDS Virtual Dystonia Workshop Nov. 19

Join the DMRF and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) for the virtual 2026 NINDS Dystonia Workshop: Reassessing the Landscape, on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. This virtual workshop bringing researchers, clinicians, and the dystonia community together to take stock of the field and chart its future. Eight years after the last joint NINDS-DMRF workshop, we’ll review advances across the various research fields in dystonia, emphasizing its true prevalence as a common, often under-recognized condition. We’ll also explore NIH resources and data-sharing opportunities and hold shared conversations on what’s needed to move the field forward together. People living with dystonia will contribute throughout, helping shape a planned in-person follow-up workshop. Open to all researchers, clinicians, and the community.
