Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Dystonia
This is a recording of the Sept. 9, 2026 webinar on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) featuring Neepa Patel, MD, from Rush University Medical Center and Liz Rawson, member of the DMRF Board of Directors. DBS is a surgical treatment that uses an implanted medical device to treat dystonia and other neurological disorders. Once reserved for only severe cases of generalized dystonia, DBS is being used to treat a greater variety of dystonia patients than ever before.
