You can help educate Congress on dystonia and the needs of the dystonia community. Your voice matters, your story matters.
Join Dystonia Advocacy Network volunteers from across the country for legislative training and meetings in Congressional offices to advocate on behalf of the dystonia community.
Day 1: Legislative training and preparing volunteers for meetings in Congressional offices.
Day 2: Volunteers spend the day on Capitol Hill in meetings with Members of Congress and/or Congressional Staff
Registration closes on March 19, 2019. If you need to reserve a hotel room, please register by February 27, 2019 so that a room may be reserved for you. The room rate is $279 plus applicable taxes for a single or double.
The DMRF is proud to work with the Benign Essential Blepharospasm Research Foundation (BEBRF), National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association (NSDA) and National Spasmodic Torticollis Association (NSTA) on these important activities. The DMRF serves as the organization responsible for coordinating the annual advocacy activities of the four groups including Dystonia Advocacy Day.
