Virtual Walk – Bear | Dystonia Medical Research Foundation

My dog’s name is Bear. He is a 5 year old purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier and loves to go for adventures in our local redwood forest.

I have dystonia in one lower leg which with the help of Botox injections is now under control. I can walk and run and do most things fairly easily. Having Bear and my other dogs made me HAVE to get out and about and exercise them and retrain my muscles even though much of it was done on sticks and awkwardly for many many months. If Bear can help to raise money for more dystonia research that may help find a cure for those with much worse cases than myself it will be an awesome way to give back to those who supported me through my struggle.
