Instructions on Live Auction Bidding

• Register: Select the “Register Now” button towards the top of the page and enter your name and email. Credit card information is required to place a bid.
• Select an item: Search for an item by name or category, or browse by category.
• View the item: Click on the item to see its description and the current bid.
• Place a bid: Choose to bid the system’s set amount or enter a higher amount. You can also use the auto bid feature to set the maximum amount you’re willing to spend.
• Check your bid: If your bid is accepted, a box will appear congratulating you. If it’s not accepted, someone else may have bid the same amount right before you.
• Add an item to your watch list: Click the star next to “Watch this Item” to add it to your “My Activity” list.
• Check your activity: Click the “My Activity” button to see a list of your bids and the items you’re interested in.

The auction preview was held Oct. 19-21. Bidding is open Oct. 22 – 24, ending at 5 p.m. CT on Oct. 24.

How Will My Participation Help People with Dystonia?

All money raised from the Bid It Up for Dystonia Auction will be used to fund important research, education and awareness initiatives at the DMRF. The dystonia community relies on these funds to engage with patient support groups, distribute educational materials, and promote ongoing medical research for a dystonia cure.
