40+ Years of DMRF Research Achievements

“DMRF initiated, supported, stimulated, and catalyzed essential scientific and medical efforts that created the modern dystonia field.”
-Jan Teller, MA, PhD
Chief Scientific Advisor

Nearly 45 years ago, the DMRF began the ambitious mission to find a dystonia cure. Since that time, the Foundation has provided funding to 270+ investigators and has grown the field from a handful of dedicated experts to a global network of investigators striving every day to develop new therapies and improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by all forms of the disorder. DMRF supporters are a vital part of this exciting transformation and expansion. Thank you!

A newly published report, “Untangling the Complexity of Dystonia: 40+ Years of Research Achievements,” summarizes some of the most important research highlights from the DMRF’s science program. Countless lives have been changed for the better because of the vibrant research field this report describes. DMRF thanks our donor for trusting the DMRF as a steward of your hope for a cure and for your confidence in the scientific process to deliver the breakthroughs we are fighting for every day.

If you have not already, please stay in touch by joining the DMRF email list for monthly updates and news.
